As I wrote in the last post, the subway station with the yellow walls here in Bonn has a completely different style of seats. Looks not bad, but destroys the uniformity of the series of pictures in the last post.

I took a lot more pictures in the subway stations here, so there will be more follow-up posts soon…

That’s a series of shots I took some years ago here in Bonn. Some of the subway stations in Bonn have walls in really nice colors and I had the idea to take in everyone almost the same minimalistic shot of this empty seats, while the color is always changing. I think it works pretty well.

There’s also one station with a yellow wall (located between the brown and the red one), but the seats have a different style, so I didn’t include it here. Will put it in another post next time.

This set of close-up detail shots I took last week at the ‘Bonner Münster”, the big cathedral here in Bonn. I tried to avoid to give the pictures the usual postcard look, let them look dark, somehow mysterious or even a little bit scary, which also fits to this old building, I think.

The dark green/yellow duotone look I created just with Lightroom, which is really useful to process such a large set of pictures.
